How to Make Your Appointment
Calling 480-699-4867 during business hours, M-F 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with your calendar available is the easiest way to set your first appointment. If you should get voicemail while we’re serving someone else, be sure to leave your best contact numbers and best times to return your call.
Many clients also set up their first appointment via email. They find this allows them to check their schedules, answer questions off business hours, etc. We are comfortable either way. Email us at appts@dsrclinic.com with your availability and we will get that first appointment set!

Frequently Asked Questions: Here are some questions you may not have thought to ask but will make your first visit more comfortable. Click here.
What to expect your first appointment: Following the completion of your paperwork, you will meet your therapist and spend some time getting to know one another. During this time the therapist will be also observing how you sit, breathe, rest in your physical body, as well as gaining insight into your understanding of your current challenges.
Once that is complete, based on those observations the therapist will begin the evaluation and education process, inviting you to notice aspects about how you sit, stand, walk, breathe, and move in general......all designed to give you a practical, immediate understanding of the many things you do every day that may be influencing your health challenge. Immediately the two of you work together learning, discovering and problem solving together. You are free to ask questions or interject more history that comes to mind through the gentle process of movement and observations.
Once the therapist is satisfied about issues of safety, having screened for other causes of your symptoms, and your abilities for safe participation, they will discuss a treatment plan with you and get your consent to move ahead with learning your first new movements and habits. All of these will be slow and gentle, but surprisingly when you finish you will note significant changes already....no waiting three weeks to experience a change. They will also go over what you are to do until the next visit to include instructions and handouts, and answer any other questions.
From there they will take you back to the front desk where you can schedule your remaining visits and have any financial questions answered.
