FAQ

Here is a list of answers to the most frequently asked questions we receive at the DSR Clinic...please call us if you can't find the answer to your question, 480-699-4867 or email us at info@dsrclinic.com:

  1.  Q: Will insurance cover my visits to the DSR Clinic? A: The DSR Clinic provides both physical therapy and wellness services. Generally speaking wellness services are not covered by insurance. The DSR Clinic accepts only Medicare insurance (No Advantage, Secure Horizons or replacement plans. Click here for Medicare details. For all non-Medicare patients, we are a fee-for-service provider which means you pay for services at the time you receive them and we provide you with what you need to collect from your insurance company. Click here for Fee for Service details. Physical therapy services are often covered for those with out of network benefits, but everyone's coverage differs, so call to confirm your coverage, 480-699-4867

  1.  Q: How do I get to the clinic? A: The DSR Clinic is in the Ironwood Square development on 92nd Street south of Shea. Our office is building 10213, Suite 102. Unfortunately our building is just one of many identical buildings. So head right over to this page with written directions....life is too short to drive around hoping the building will appear!

  1. Q: What makes your clinic different than every other PT clinic? A: Glad you asked...a lot of aspects of our clinics are different...ALL of your treatment is provided by a physical therapist...you don't spend most of your time on machines...we are a veteran group of practitioners...we are all in practice for ourselves and therefore very motivated to see that you are satisfied with your care...we will talk about all the aspects of your life that influence your health challenge, not just act as though you are a machine in for a tune-up...and much more. See this page for details.

  1. Q: I'm kind of conservative...this isn't one of those New Age places is it? A: Not at all. We are located in a professional medical complex and all hold licensure/certification of the highest level within our professions. Many of us teach our peers locally and nationally. The office is quiet, tastefully decorated and each treatment session takes place in a private room. We believe you will find a very pleasant blend of scientific professionalism and genuine personal care. Dr. Taylor regularly presents to his peers around the country at state and national conferences, as well as authoring physical therapy textbook chapters.

  1. Q: I've been to therapy already and it didn't work, why try again? A: Most of our clients have been to therapy already and not been satisfied with the results. At the DSR Clinic you will notice many differences from the time you step through the door. The DSR Method? that Dr. Taylor has developed is what makes us different from any other clinic in the Valley. Learn more here.

  1. Q: Is a prescription required for care? A: Only for physical therapy services, and then only if you want services covered by insurance. Arizona permits direct access to physical therapy without a prescription, but most insurance companies require a prescription. Call to be sure: 480-699-4867.
