Matthew J. Taylor, PT, PhD Founder, Co-owner and Director
  
It is Dr Taylor’s passion to provide a rehabilitation experience focused in dignity and compassion. He has made it his life’s work to explore new techniques of therapeutic rehabilitation in order to offer a more complete recovery to his patients. For the last 30 years, with his graduate degree in physical therapy and his doctorate in the study of chronic pain,  he has worked to find a solution for self-empowered healing. Jordan N. Staenberg, OTD, OTR/L

Jordan Staenberg, a doctor of occupational therapy and yoga teacher, founded Mindful Occupational Therapy, LLC, to help individuals reclaim their full capacity for living.  She offers a distinctive and holistic approach to occupational therapy, helping individuals live artfully with innovative, evidence-based, effective methods for improving function and comfort.   She uniquely integrates physical, cognitive, psychological, sensory, and psychosocial components for optimal health, wellness and quality of life.  Jordan has been able to improve the lives thousands living with a wide range of conditions including chronic and traumatic acquired neurological conditions, amputees, orthopedic conditions, pulmonary rehabilitation and pediatric diagnoses. Jordan also provides American Family Physician endorsed services for promoting psychological wellness for depressive symptoms and anxiety. As a mother herself, she is passionate about evidence-based mind-body pre and post-natal care. Chrissy Barth, RD, BHT, RYT 

Chrissy joined the DSR Clinic October 1, 2010, bringing with her the wisdom of how to optimize your relationship with eating, food and nutrition to support your health. She was previously a dietitian at the Mayo Clinic and was a nutrition coach for Arizona Family’s Channel 3 Corporate Weight Loss Challenge.  Chrissy has been awarded inclusion of the 2006-2007 Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executives and Professionals in Dietetics “Honors Edition” of the Registry- the single highest mark of achievement as a dietitian and has received recognition as Arizona’s Young Dietitian of the Year for 2007. Jennifer Collins Taylor, MSW Co-owner
   

Jennifer is our  Operations Director. From the serene beauty of the waiting area to the calm atmosphere of the clinic, Jennifer works to make your experience a more peaceful and pleasant one. She and Matthew have been married since 1980 and have been working as a team ever since. Besides working with the clinic Jennifer spends much of her time on her business, coordinating opportunities for healthy conversations about death and dying.

Lisa Weinrib M.D., Intuitive Holistic Physician

Lisa Weinrib M.D. has greatly improved the health, wellbeing, and quality of life for several thousand patients by combining her intuition and medical knowledge. Dr. Weinrib, board certified in internal medicine followed by rheumatology in 1986 has provided intuitive holistic counseling since 2000.  An interview with Dr. Weinrib is featured in a documentary about Edgar Cayce one of the most famous medical intuitives. Dr. Weinrib has developed a highly successful and efficient method of guiding and empowering individuals to manifest a complete life changing and positive experience. Mary Ann Christensen, RYT 500

Mary Ann is a Yoga therapist, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), and Certified Yoga Instructor (CYI). She is also a Parkinson's Wellness Recovery (PWR!) Fitness Trainer, specifically in PWR! Moves and PWR! Circuit. She received her education from the Matthew J. Taylor Institute, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Levels I & II, Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, the PWR! Academy and is a participant in the Integrative Yoga Therapy 500 hour Yoga Therapy Certification program.

Mary Ann teaches therapeutic Hatha Yoga classes, with an emphasis in the DSR Method, to those facing health challenges at the DSR Clinic. She also teaches mindfulness based meditative Yoga classes at Banner Neuro Wellness Center in Gilbert, Arizona to individuals with Parkinson's disease and other neurological challenges. Veva Eickelberg, RYT-500


Veva has developed Reclamation YogaTM: gentle, safe Yoga postures with breathing, visual imagery, and self-awareness along with DSR rehabilitation techniques. The goal of Reclamation YogaTM is to teach students before, during and after surgical procedures that have challenged their body image and full potential to recover.  The techniques allow them to reconnect with their body to optimize comfort, grace of movement and ease. Based in emerging neuroscience, individuals “reclaim” their sense of self and comfort. She has been studying Yoga therapy and the DSR method for four years with Matthew J. Taylor, PT, PhD. Veva teaches from a broad base of yoga that works for all ages from prenatal to 80 years-young, always incorporating safety, gentleness and appropriate effort levels.
